Easter Yoga Holiday on Mallorca

  • Tramuntana Flow 63 Camí de N'Olesa Sa Cabaneta, PM, 07141 Spain (map)

Would you like to spend a week away to leave everyday life and its challenges behind and get the chance to reconnect to yourself through a yoga practice that meets you where you are? And at the same time have the opportunity to discover beautiful nature and culture on Mallorca? And practise in the spirit of community? This yoga holiday might be for you.

YOGA CLASSES, FEETUP, KIRTAN AND THAI YOGA MASSAGE
If you have been to one of my yoga classes you already know that I offer various options throughout class for all practices so that you are empowered to make choices that suit your body and energy levels on any given day. Even if you don't normally practise every day, you will be physically fine on this retreat.... We will have the chance to grow our practice together over the course of the week, so that you will come home with insights about which movement, posture, breathing, resting and meditation tools work for you.
In the morning, we will practise in a way that energises and leaves us ready for the day ahead, whether that means lounging round the pool with a book, going for a hike in the Tramuntana mountains (only 30 mins away), discovering Mallorca and Palma or finding a beach somewhere to enjoy.
In the late afternoon/early evening, another yoga class is on offer which consists of chilled out practices to ease your body, mind and soul and finishes with luxurious rest in restorative yoga poses and yoga nidra. This will leave us prepared for dinner and the evening.
If that sounds like a full schedule, rest assured that all classes are optional (it's your holiday!) as are the special offers: a FeetUp workshop to learn and play with inversions, an evening of Kirtan around the candle fire (my guitar and songs will be with us) and a Thai Yoga Massage beginners workshop.

FOOD
The glorious vegetarian food will be provided by a local chef, gluten-free and vegan options are available on request. There will be breakfast after morning practice, a lunch early afternoon, and then dinner after evening practice. Again, you can take part or not depending on your plans for the day.

THE RETREAT CENTRE
The beautiful Tramuntana Flow Retreat Centre has been manifested by our wonderful host Angela Fuster Duran. She will help with anything practical during our stay from helping to organise day trips/activities to making sure we have everything we need onsite. She has poured all her love into her grandparents’ country house and land to create the ‘Casa de la Calma’, the ‘House of Calm’. Personally, I love the combination of natural calm, comfortable furniture and rustic beauty of the house and outside spaces.

ACCOMMODATION
The main house sports three double rooms and a big suite sleeping four. Once the twelve beds in the house are taken, there is also the possibility to rent an apartment with two rooms sleeping two people each or serene dorms sleeping two or four near the studio.

THE LAND
The private land which we have all to ourselves slopes down behind the house in two terraces of lawn, with the swimming pool to one side, ending in a huge stone sun terrace. Off the sun terrace lies the yoga studio in perfect calm with its own broad wooden balcony in front. Both studio and sun terrace have a beautiful, untainted view of the countryside and the Tramuntana mountains. We will have the option to practice in the studio, outside on the sun terrace or the lawn. Spoilt for choice!
